Hovhannes Adamyan (1879–1932) was an Armenian inventor and engineer who became one of the pioneers in the field of television. In 1908, he developed a color television system, which became the foundation for modern image transmission technologies. His patents and research played an important role in the development of television, especially in creating the first devices capable of transmitting color images. Adamyan also worked on other technical devices, leaving a significant contribution to science and technology of his time.
